After spending over a decade in the world of high-end bridal couture and costume design, I found myself drawn to a different kind of fashion—one that celebrates simplicity, comfort, and mindful living. While creating elaborate garments was creatively fulfilling, I always dreamt of building a label that people could truly live in every day.

Urban Sanskar was born from that dream.

As a designer, I have always believed that what we wear should be as kind to our skin as it is to the environment. That philosophy continues to guide every decision we make. We choose breathable fabrics that feel comfortable against the skin while consciously avoiding unnecessary synthetic materials whenever possible.

Our commitment to thoughtful design doesn't end with our garments. Fabric offcuts from production are carefully repurposed into handcrafted pouches, baskets, and other small accessories. These are lovingly made by my mother and a small group of talented women, creating meaningful opportunities for them to earn through our brand while ensuring that beautiful fabric never goes to waste.

For me, Urban Sanskar is more than a clothing label. It is a quiet movement towards conscious fashion—where timeless design, responsible craftsmanship, and community come together to create garments with purpose.

My hope is simple: to create garments that people cherish, while leaving a lighter footprint on the world.
